The home screen shows current room temperature in large, color-coded text — orange when heating, cyan when cooling. Tap the mode icons to switch between heat, cool, fan, and auto. Up/Down arrows adjust the target temperature from 60–90°F with instant haptic feedback.
Each room's panel reads its own BME280 temperature sensor, so the "72°F" you see is the actual temperature in that room, not a single number from the hallway.
